Trump Claims He ‘Settled’ India-Pakistan Conflict Through Trade

U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his assertion that he ‘settled’ the recent conflict between India and Pakistan through ‘trade’ during a meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

In remarks delivered during the Oval Office, Trump emphasized his role in resolving the tensions between the two nations. ‘If you take a look at what we just did with Pakistan and India. We settled that whole, and I think I settled it through trade,’ he said.

Trump highlighted the U.S. relationship with both countries, stating, ‘And I said, ‘What are you guys doing?’
